Don’t get me wrong, I hate the Ayatollah as much as the
Persian people do. His analysts that
found a gap in their arch enemy’s air defenses deserve an extra 1 million Rials
(Iran’s currency) in their paychecks.
That about twenty bucks. The
flight path is surmised to have avoided flying over the Persian Gulf and gone
through Iraq and Kuwait instead.
Over a dozen drones and as many missiles struck Saudi
Arabia’s one industry and crippled their oil production. The Iranian military had promised to develop
cruise missiles and boy were they successful.
The House of Saud’s response to the brazen attack has only
been to bemoan world oil production, nothing kinetic. So far, they have decided not to strike back,
not wanting the war now on their doorstep.
This shows Saudi Arabia to be impotent.
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman unable to defend the kingdom. I guess
America has been selling them weapons that they haven’t the balls to use. Iran’s attack has paralyzed their opponent. They retain the initiative.
NCIS-Baghdad determined during the wars that the Ayatollah’s
regime built the bomb components for most of the IED’s (Improvised Explosive
Device) that killed thousands of Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan. And maiming thousands more. To be fair, I’d be scared too if America
invaded countries to both my east and west.
Weirdly, the Persian people have always been pro-America. They must really believe in the “Land of the
Free” anthem.
It seems Iran wants to start a wider war than just the proxy
conflicts in Syria and Yemen. It’s
probably the last way the Ayatollah can keep his grip on power. The
sanctions are crippling Iran’s economy.
Unemployment is over 15%. But President Trump hasn’t taken the bait, yet.
War hawks in the US argued that we should strike Iran. Why?
Let’s wait, I caution, for another provocation. Let’s not fight someone else’s fight. America wasn’t directly attacked.
President Johnson said about Vietnam in 1964, “We are not
about to send American boys 9 or 10 thousand miles away from home to do what
Asian boys ought to be doing for themselves.”
This time it’s Southwest Asia.
And oh, by the way, we don’t need Saudi oil. America is an oil exporter these days.
If the Ayatollah wants a war with the US all he must do is
shoot at an American warship. We’ll see
what happens then.
